Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout. Add items to your cart, choose your country, and the exact fee will appear before you enter any payment details.
Delivery times vary by region — most orders arrive within 1–3 weeks. Faster options may be available depending on your destination.

No, all customs duties are the responsibility of the customer. For international orders, the total amount includes customs duties added to the order value. For domestic orders, the total amount includes consumption tax added to the order value.

A. We dispatch most orders within five business days after purchase.

・Order-confirmation email: sent automatically within 24 hours of checkout.
・Standard dispatch: parcels leave our warehouse within 5 business days after that confirmation.
・If an item is out of stock or we foresee a delay (e.g., national holidays, severe weather), we’ll let you know right away.
・The moment your parcel ships, you’ll receive a shipping-confirmation email with a tracking link.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for international orders. We encourage our international customers to review their orders carefully before finalizing them. Yes — we'd love to have you. Our store in Kakamigahara, Gifu is open several days each month. If you're visiting from overseas, please contact us at customer@hidari.com in advance so we can arrange your visit. You can try every product by hand and explore our full collection.

A. Yes. Please confirm with the hotel in advance that they accept parcels for guests.

If the package is refused, the shipping fee is non-refundable. HIDARI is also not responsible if Japanese customs prevents you from taking the items out of the country when you depart, so double-check that your purchase can be carried internationally.

HIDARI was born from a simple belief: left-handed people deserve tools that are designed for them — not adapted, not reversed, but thoughtfully created from the start.
We are a specialty brand from Japan, curating and developing beautiful, high-quality tools for left-handed living. Since 2018, we've served left-handers across Japan, and now we ship to left-handers around the world.

What We Do

HIDARI is part curator, part creator. About 30% of our products are original — designed in-house and crafted with Japan's finest makers. The rest are carefully selected from workshops across the country: blade-smiths in Seki, toolmakers in Tsubame-Sanjo, stationery artisans in Tokyo.
We don't just stock left-handed products. We choose each one because it meets our standard for design, quality, and the experience of using it with your left hand.

In 2023, we opened a physical store in Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture — in the heart of Japan's craft country. The store is open several days each month, but if you're traveling from overseas, just let us know and we'll open the doors for you.
Inside, you can try every product by hand, explore our full collection, and meet the team behind HIDARI. Look for the white curtain with our polar bear mascot — he'll be waiting at the entrance.

Every order is carefully packed by our team in Gifu and shipped directly from Japan to your door. Most orders arrive within 1–3 weeks, depending on your region.
