Left-handed highlights

The converter itself is not left-handed-specific. It fits Schneider fountain pens with a standard cartridge system, allowing left-handed writers to use bottled ink with the same pens they already enjoy.

A note from HIDARI

If you enjoy changing ink colors, a converter makes bottled ink much easier to explore. We especially like pairing it with Schneider’s small 15 ml pastel inks, so you can switch colors without being limited to cartridges.

For refilling from bottled ink

This piston converter uses a simple turning mechanism and is compatible with Schneider fountain pens and other pens that use a standard ink-cartridge system.

After inserting the converter into a grip section of your fountain pen, twist the knob to lower the piston to the bottom of the converter. Dip the nib into bottled ink and draw ink by twisting the knob in the opposite direction from the previous step.

You can thoroughly clean this converter by drawing clean water in and out until clear.
