A foldable fan—fun, colorful, and usable in either hand

If a folding fan feels a bit too formal, here’s a playful alternative: a compact, foldable uchiwa that’s as portable as it is fun.

Adorned with cheerful fruit and candy patterns, this summer accessory is sure to lift your spirits—and turn heads—wherever you go. And yes, it’s equally comfortable for both left-handed and right-handed users.

How to open
Twist and unfold—easy as that

Hold the two outer ribs in both hands, twist them apart to open, then secure with the black plastic clip.
Just remember—open gently to keep the paper and pleats in perfect shape.

Five designs bursting with summer joy

From juicy fruits to candy swirls, pick your favorite to match your mood or outfit.

Watermelon – The ultimate symbol of summer

Kiwi – Fresh green outside, a surprise pattern inside

Orange – Vibrant slices and leafy accents

Candy Blue – Cool swirls in refreshing tones (same on both sides)

Candy Red – A marine-inspired red-and-white twist (same on both sides)

Please note before purchasing

As this is an imported novelty item, the craftsmanship is lighter compared to traditional Japanese folding fans. The ribs are made from a soft wood, similar in texture to popsicle sticks.

We carefully inspect each piece and remove obvious defects, but some variation is to be expected. The following are considered acceptable and are not grounds for return or exchange:

  • Natural variations in the wood color, grain, or small knots
  • Minor splinters or tiny dents
  • Slight color irregularities in the printed design

Left-handed, from the start

Every tool in our shop is designed for left-handed use — not a right-handed product turned around. We've been gathering and making them since 2018, from our shop in Gifu, Japan.

Delivered to You from Japan

We've been running a left-handed tools shop in Japan since 2018. The online store grew out of that, and now we send these tools to people in over 90 countries.
