Left-handed highlights

The can-opening blade is reversed for left-handed use, so you can hold the tool in your left hand and pull naturally toward yourself as you cut around the lid. The bottle opener and hole punch work in either hand.

Can openers are a perfect example of a tool that quietly assumes everyone is right-handed. We wanted a version that feels completely ordinary in the left hand — not an adaptation, just the same natural motion right-handers have always had. The matte black finish and simple 3-in-1 design make it one we’re especially proud to put the HIDARI name on.
