Choosing This Year’s Planner Color: Violet!

The Left-Handed Planner 2025(Japan edition) comes in five different colors. After much deliberation, our store manager chose Violet!

🗣 Her thoughts on the decision:

"Even though we selected the color lineup ourselves, it was surprisingly difficult to pick one for my own use! The new Violet and Yellow both stood out to me, but in the end, I was in the mood for a cool-toned color, so I went with Violet."

The new colors are vibrant and easy to spot, whether on a desk or inside a bag, making it super convenient when you need your planner in a hurry.

💡 Store Manager’s Note:

"Violet is a fresh addition to our lineup! We never really know which color will be the most popular until sales begin, so I’m happy that people are loving it. Also, the new colors have a unique smooth-textured cover, which feels great to the touch!"

How She Uses Her Planner

Mini Illustration Journal in the Monthly Pages

Our store manager primarily uses her planner for record-keeping rather than scheduling. In the monthly pages, she keeps a mini illustration journal, sketching small drawings to capture each day’s mood or memorable moments.

🗣 Her thoughts on this habit:

"I use Google Calendar on my phone and PC for scheduling, but this planner is my personal record. Every day, I draw something I noticed, how I felt, or just a small doodle of the day’s events. If I can’t think of anything, I draw a Pokémon instead!
It’s a fun way to keep up with journaling. Ever since I set this rule for myself, I’ve found it easier to stay consistent. Some people have even started copying the idea after I shared it on social media!"

✏️ Her Favorite Tools: She uses just a simple ballpoint pen to draw, directly sketching in her planner.

💡 Store Manager’s Insight:

"I’ve realized that you can’t draw well without actually looking at what you’re sketching. This little habit has made me more aware of details!"

Task Management in the Weekly Pages

Most of the content is blurred for privacy, but here’s how our store manager organizes her tasks!

Last year, she mainly used the weekly pages for taking notes during meetings. But this year, she’s decided to use them for task management instead!

🗣 Her approach to planning:

"I used to manage tasks with an app, but this year I wanted to try handling everything in my planner. I write down my daily to-dos on the right-hand page and cross them out as I complete them. I don’t separate work and personal tasks—I keep everything in one place."

One major advantage of using a planner? You don’t need to open an app to see your tasks!

💡 Her Task Management Tips:

✅ Completed tasks → Cross them out ✅ Unfinished tasks → Highlight with a marker to make them stand out

Having everything written down makes it easier to keep track of tasks, and crossing things off gives a sense of accomplishment!

"With a digital app, reminders are helpful, but you have to open the app to see your to-dos. I’ve missed deadlines that way before! On the other hand, when I leave my planner open, it’s always visible, which keeps me accountable.

Also, crossing things off feels really satisfying—it gives a little boost to my motivation!"
