1: Dates in the Top Right Corner
Take a look at most planners or calendars, and you’ll see that the date is usually in the top left corner. If you have a planner nearby, check it out!
With the HIDARI Left-handed Planner, we’ve moved the dates to the top right, so your writing hand doesn’t cover them. This simple adjustment has led to feedback like, “I never realized how much this bothered me until it stopped happening!”
2: An Ideal Weekly Layout for Lefties
Our planner features a layout with the weekly schedule on the right side and a memo section on the left. This allows for smooth, uninterrupted writing when you need to jot down notes while viewing your schedule―no more lifting your hand to see what’s written.
3: Opens in the Opposite Direction
With standard planners, left-handed users often find themselves flipping backward through the pages. While it may seem like a small issue, it can be a source of frustration. Our planner opens in the opposite direction, making it much easier to flip through and find what you need. Some customers initially find it a bit strange, but many tell us, “Once I got used to it, I can’t use any other planner!”

We offer two versions of the HIDARI Left-handed Planner: the 2025 (Japan Edition) for those who want a dated version, and the HIDARI Left-handed Planner UNDATED for those who prefer to start at any time.
HIDARI Left-handed Planner 2025 (Japan Edition)
This version covers 15 months, from January 2025 to March 2026, following the Japanese calendar, so only Japanese holidays are included. However, the days of the week, months, and week numbers are all in English.
